| Do you wear school uniforms? |

No, our students are not required to wear a school uniform at RCS. Staff members and students are expected to reflect a Christian lifestyle in dress and appearance. We dress to please God, therefore our dress must bring glory to God. Neat, clean, modest and appropriate clothing is required at all times. We define these by the following:
a. Suggestive or revealing articles of clothing are totally inappropriate.
b. Undergarments are not to be seen.
c. Necklines are not to reveal cleavage.
d. Shirts are to be long enough to cover midriff.
e. Shorts and skirts are to be modest and practical.
f. Shoulder straps are to be at least three fingers in width.
g. Make up should not be obvious.
h. The only piercings permitted are for girls’ ear rings.
i. Slogans, messages, and advertising on clothing is discouraged due to a possible lack of clarity (and a possible unrighteousness) of the message.
j. Skull and cross-bone designs are not permitted.
k. Appropriate outerwear is required during inclement weather.
l. Clean non-marking footwear must be worn inside school – for health and safety reasons.
m. Athletic footwear is to be available at all times for either indoor or outdoor use.
Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks (and the body is dressed). Our body presentation is a reflection of our heart. Thank you for supporting us in cultivating a heart of submission and compassion.
