Mathematics is necessary to describe the form and fullness of the Creation that God made at the beginning of time. The formless and empty universe before the beginning of time was replaced by an orderly and measurable one. The creation of the universe represents a transition from a chaotic universe which obeyed no mathematical principles to one which by the grace of God is designed with measured time and space.

We humans were designed to live within this context of time and space and mathematical principles. Mathematics reveals the intricate patterns and order of numbers and space as created by God. Students learn that the principles of mathematics are revealed through experiences and exploration of God’s design. As we struggle to understand the laws of mathematics, we understand that God has a magnificent design in place, ready for us to explore and understand. There is so much that remains to be discovered and learned.
