Social Studies units allow students to learn about their own cultures, cultures in other parts of the world, and in different time periods. They are provided with opportunities to develop a sense of place and time; as well as values that reflect responsible citizenship in relation to serving fellow humans, seeking justice and exercising stewardship with the materials God has given us.
